About
Having developed a passion for wildlife and nature from a young age, I am very fortunate to live in the beautiful village of Foyers, a small Highland community on the south-side of Loch Ness.
Mountains here are covered in heather, the lochs are mysterious and misty and the forests are full of pines, delicate ferns, mosses and lichens, all of which provide endless creative inspiration from my doorstep.
I have an undergraduate degree in Wildlife Biology, a post graduate Diploma in Occupational Therapy and am currently employed as a Specialist Occupational Therapist at Highland Hospice, where I am privileged to manage a small but dedicated team of therapists. A much loved and very special part of my role is the facilitation of therapeutic patient art groups in our purpose built Art Room. I create from a small studio and workshop in Lower Foyers.
I thrive on exploring and learning new processes and have spent time working in ceramics, enamelling and jewellery making. Printmaking is also a current passion that I am very grateful to have found. Wherever possible I spend my spare time wandering the local trails collecting plants and flowers to use in my work.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my website, I hope you find something here that you enjoy.
